My Take:                                            
 Glassy is the second product I've tried from Natural House, Moppy was my first and now I'm thinking I need to try out the rest because all the cleaners I normally get may be booted out. I am not a woman of change - if I find something that cleans good, is a good price and works for me then I normally stick with it for a long time but my routines have changed because of Natural House. My all time favorite thing about their products is that they are eco-friendly, non-toxic and biodegradable! The mother in me loves those things! I can actually know that what I'm cleaning my house with isn't going to hurt anyone and it helps out the environment at the same time! ...you know how us parents love multi-tasking!! Glassy doesn't have that strong smell you normally get from your window cleaner and its clear....not blue like most others. It actually smells like a fresh minty smell to me but its actually called citrus mint scent. Either way I like the fact that it smells clean but not "full of chemicals clean" if you get what I mean! My first test for Glassy was on my sliding glass door, which honestly it always looks like a group of teen girls were having practice kiss tests on it for a day straight. My toddlers are capable of pretty much anything! Glassy had NO problem cutting through everything my kids managed to smudge on it over the past week! After wards it smelt great and was sooo clear I would've never known it was a glass door! It did the same thing for all of my windows too! So I can say without a doubt that I highy recommend Glassy!! My Take:

For being Dittemore's first book I was amazed at her shear ability to make me feel the main character Brielle's emotions and struggles. Normally with a new author my biggest problem is that I can't make the characters real enough to understand, this was not a problem for me this time! Like the rest of us Brielle has encountered unseen tragedy that changed her completely. I personally connected with her from the beginning of the book and read quickly to see if her end was how I was imagining it would be......sorry I can't give that away! We all have our own struggles and beliefs, Angel Eyes is about becoming who you are meant to be and making your own decisions based on what you believe. I think a lot of us can relate to that and of course the growing relationship between Brielle and Jake makes things pretty interesting as well! There is a religious tone underneath the story but do not shy away from it for that reason. Soon after starting you will be so involved with Brielle, Jake and the events circling around them that even if you don't normally read things having to do with religion you WILL finish this book! I am a married mother of four but I can proudly say that even though its labeled as "Juvenile Fiction"  I was turning the pages quicker than any 15 year old could imagine.  Angel Eyes transported me into a world that most days I don't give much thought to and gave me enough space when certain events occured where I could ponder what I would do or what is the right thing to do!! For many books that is not the norm! Overall I would highly recommend Angel Eyes to you and if you do read it I would love to hear you thoughts! My biggest dislike was the fact that now that I finished this book and dealt with a cliffhanger ending I NEED to read the other 2 novels in the trilogy. And to be purely honest...I can't wait!!

As some of you may remember towards the end of December I took the Skintactix Clear Skin Challenge , here are my personal findings! I have never had "extremely" bad acne even in my teen years....normally I get the once or twice a month breakouts, but when they came they were bad! But during my recent pregnancy my skin was about the least beautiful I had seen it in a long time! I have combination skin and it seems like it would be the easiest skin to treat...most days I think its the hardest! I never know if its going to turn into an oil factory or dry out like I sat in a tanning bed for 12 hours! Its soo frustrating. I for one had heard of things like Proactive before and tried it with no noticable results! So when I came to find out about Skintactix I said it was worth the try! I began using it about 4 weeks after having my daughter. I chose Acne Kit A1 For normal or combination skin. It has a 3-step treatment process: Step 1-Antibacterial or Glycolic Cleanser, Step 2- Glycolic Exfoliator and Step 3 is The Green Tea Poultice. Unless you run into problems this is suppose to be an AM and PM routine. I love Step 3, I could almost feel it working away the minute I applied it! After about 2 weeks of using Skintactix I began to notice my skin getting dry so I backed off on how much I was applying. I also noticed a "flare-up" a little after 2 weeks but about a week later is when I noticed my skin was getting a lot clearer and more stable, which is the result I was after! I highly recommend that anyone who has had trouble seeing results or improvement from their old acne products to give Skintactix a chance- it might be the best thing you ever do for your skin! They have EVERYTHING  imaginable on their website! (even a tool to help identify what your skin problem is) also special treatment kits for blackheads and whiteheads, and loads of other information on acne and problematic skin conditions!

 I unfortunately do not have a "close up" picture of my skin from my pregnancy-due to the fact it was horrible and I avoided close ups!! But if you can tell my skin after a month trial kit of Skintactix is fairly clear and stable! My next plan is to get a Blackhead/Whitehead kit to see if I can clear up some of those annoying little spots around my nose area.....other people might not stare and notice them but I do! But as of right now I feel like Skintactix has helped me regain my pre-pregnancy complexion!

BABY'S RECORD KEEPER & MEMORY BOX (Peter Pauper Press)

I cannot say enough about Peter Pauper Press and the items I have gotten from them that help me keep my most important memories documented! (I have a current review of one of their growth charts up also!) They have great quality items at great prices all the time! The item I'm talking about now is a "scrapbook", one different from any other ones I have ever seen! It is very normal until you get to the back of it-  

See that thing in the back? Its a Memory box with a magnetic cover!! I imagine you could keep things like the first tooth, haircut, and everything like that in there but what I currently use it for is the footprints/hospital bracelets and pictures I have yet to get placed onto their pages in the scrapbook! Its a great way to not lose anything and have it right there when you find the time to get some of it done! If your anything like me scrapbooking can be hard to keep up with but you know its deffinantly worth it so you do what you can, when you can! The other reasons I chose this keeper was because of its neutral coloring (since I wasn't sure what my baby to be was) and that it has special places to record all of your baby's firsts!! Which any mother knows is super important! Some day I will have it all filled in and be giving it to my baby girl when she grows up and starts a family of her own! So here it is-my first hand experience of having Mirena birth control implanted yesterday! Some women are very shy about these types of things, and thats okay but after having 4 kids I for one am fairly open about these "womenly matters"! I do not think anyone should ever feel ashamed or shy about the fact that we are women! These topics come along with the title!
   I was looking for something long term but not permanent and this seemed to be the only option I had that sounded right for me. *as long as you have the same sexual partner no other contraception is needed but if this isn't the case you may still need to buy the occasional box of condoms since this does not prevent STDs. *this is the only bith control also proven to reduce your monthly PMS *It literally is effective for 5 years straight!! Which is great for hubby and I because if we want another child then would be about the time our youngest will be in kindergarden-if not then I can get another one placed when this one gets removed! I have also thought of another great use for this birth control....High School Girls(if you get a mirena placed your senior year it would be good until you graduated and completed 4 years of college) How awesome would it be to not have to worry about something unexpected happening when you have an educational plan in place!?? Its an idea for you to ponder!

      Most OBGYNs request you to come into the office for placement when you are menstrating-it will make the procedure less painful. Most doctor's also need a normal pap smear result before the procedure which I had done a week before placement.  In my case I didn't have time to wait so my doctor gave me a painkiller to take about 20 minutes before my scheduled visit. I did as he advised. If you speak to your doctor about a pain prescription they will most likely work with you. I went into the room and asked any more questions I wanted answered...how soon is it effective...how long till you can be sexually active...etc I was then told to lay back and relax, a numbing gel was used to aide in comfort, I felt slightly uncomfortable after the doctor worked his way back into the uterus and popped the mirena in. It was like a quick, sudden, PMS cramp. Nothing major. Then he told me to sit up-that it was all done (start to end about 15 minutes) I was a bit surprised at the blood loss due to placement in the uterus but after a bit of cleaning up it stopped in about an hour. So if you do not have your period REMEMBER to have a maxi pad or something of that nature with you for the after effects! I got lucky and had one in my purse but no-one told me to expect that. I stood up and after walking around for awhile I still felt some bad cramping but that went away today. All in all I think it was great compared to what I was expecting and should be well worth it! I will update after about a month to see if I am still happy with my choice! But if you are avoiding this beause of fear of placement- don't be! Infantino Support™ Ergonomic Cotton Carrier

       As a mother of four many people would think I've tried about every baby product under the sun but thats surprisingly enough not true. I am a young mother but have an "old mother" type of parenting style, I think many of todays "advances" are actually just a waste of time and money...and I know my four year old does not need a cell phone and an MP3 player. If some parents let their children have these types of things thats fine for them but out here in the country a child is more likely to be out in the barn helping their dad then texting their kindergaden friends! So when all of these "baby carriers" started coming out I thought to myself "they are wayyy overrated and not necessary!"
      Our newest addition born in November was my test subject for this baby carrier product I got to try from Infantino! Its an Infantino Support Ergonomic Cotton Carrier. The most impotant things to pull from its name is support and ergonomic- it basically means its designed to give you and your baby maximum comfort, the lumbar belt provides awesome back support for you while the natural seated position supports baby! There are also 2 positions you can use "facing in-cozy time and backpack exploring" As shown below:

  Aubree is about 10lbs now and I use the carrier with her facing in, after she gains more neck strength I plan to try the other position! This carrier also has an extremely pretty and sophisticated pattern on the inside so you can still feel "chic" but if dad uses it, it won't show so the other Mr. Moms can't pick on him! There is a chest strap that keeps the carrier snug, a top strap to balance baby's weight safely (weight level is 8lbs-40lbs) and even loops for hiding away extra straps so you can avoid that sloppy look!

         I loved this product from Infantino and it saddens me to know that I could've used carriers for my three other girls but my closed mind on baby products kept me from something that could've helped me out a lot. With 3 toddlers running around the house I really needed a way to keep the baby with me at all times but to be able to use my arms and get from room to room. The carrier also saves me when its time for a walk! (You can't push 2 different strollers when your only one person!) and the thing that makes me the most happy about this carrier is that Aubree loves it too! She will look around at the new perspective the carrier gives her when she's awake and sometimes she just can't battle the comfort and closeness and falls asleep! It was by far one of the most comfortable things I have ever worn, it felt natural which also surprised me and it felt secure so I knew aubree wasn't going to fall or tip out! Jockey and Purex Make a Great Pair!

To the women who work-out : You know how when you work out you always put on your sports bra (for obvious reasons of course!) and when your done you take it off and wash it but over time you notice its really not working as good as it use to - well thats because most athletic wear that gets rinsed in liquid fabric softeners isn't suppose to and if you do it  prevents the moisture wicking fabrics from working because of the oils the softener contains!!
